Sweet Allie! Sometimes she looks so much like her big brother, it’s uncanny. We spent some quality time together at home on her birthday creating these photos.
I love shooting at my clients’ homes and using simple little corners with window light. Dining rooms are usually great – especially if they have a sliding glass door. How sweet is Allie’s little butterfly clip? And the nose crinkle! Swoon.
For these last shots we used her high chair with a banner from her birthday party, and I actually brought a small backdrop and flokati rug to simulate a studio setup. This isn’t something that will work in every home, but we had the perfect space in their eat-in kitchen with great light. Love her expression in the last photo – she was definitely over it!
